Packing List
Avoid wasting your precious vacation time shopping for necessities and finding hard to translate items and come prepared. Here are some basic items that you shouldn’t leave home without:
Sun hat
Sunscreen
Sun umbrella (shade is sometimes hard to come by)
Sunglasses
Bug spray
Light pants and long sleeves (for dining outdoors)
Dutch translation book
Water/beach shoes
Water bottle
Saran wrap
A basic first aid kit that includes antibiotic ointment, tweezers, bandaids, Tylenol and/or ibuprophen
You may want to use a collapsing cooler as your carry-on bag. Picnics on Bonaire are common.
If you’ve forgotten anything, there are a few stores for your convienience that will have everything you’re looking for, just bring along your Dutch translation book.
