Goat Cheese Farm Tour

Bonaire has goats in every nook and cranny of this island. You can find them wandering along the side of the streets. After a rainfall they will look to pot-holes for a drink. I once saw a herd of goats minding their own business, oblivious to the traffic they were holding up in the downtown Kralendijk.

So it makes perfect sense that Bonaire would offer the most delicious goat cheese you will ever taste...

The bike trip destination is at the farm of Aletta Van Beeck. The busiest woman in the ABC islands. She has a herd of over 60 goats that she takes care of alone. Her farm is remarkably clean. Did I mention the cheese is handmade?
