The Best Cheap Bonaire Restaurants
Cheap Bonaire restaurants will serve you yum-tastic meals and put a smile on your face when the bill arrives. They won't have the lavish settings you would find in a haute cuisine restaurant. But the food is delicious, authentic and the atmosphere is charming.
If you're adventurous, travel a short distance away from the tourist areas to find some snack shacks. You will be rewarded with some of the best food and cheapest beer the island has to offer.

Bobbejans BBQ Bobbejans bbq is a favorite place for ribs. It's a cute little Bonaire restaurant with very little seating. If they're busy (as they usually are) or if you want an ocean view meal just take the food to go and don't forget to order a second meal for your picnic lunch tomorrow! The food is so yummy and inexpensive. Bobbejans is only open on the weekends for dinner, (boo!) Their hours are Friday and Saturday 6 to 10 pm, and Sunday 12 to 2 pm and 6 to 10 pm. Maike Snacks Maike snacks is authentically Bonairean! There will be something on the menu everyone in your group can enjoy. For those willing to try just about anything for the sake of the cultural experience they cook up some stewed goat head with liver, mmm...stewed goat head so yum! Please do not eat the iguana here or anywhere else on the island. El Fogon Latino El Fogon Latino is a Columbian restaurant located in Nikiboko Village on your way to Lac Cai from Kralendijk. You can bring your own wine for a small corking fee of $10.00. All their food is delicious, the portions are large, and the bill will be small. Make sure you try the soup! China Nobo China Nobo is a favorite chinese food restaurant with Bonaire locals. Like El Fogon it's located in Nikiboko Village just a few minutes from Kralendijk.Here you will find cheap but fantastic chow. Their lunch specials are the best on the island; for $3.37 they offer a variety of meals with fries, fried rice or chow mein. Annie is the best server in this joint, and she'll make sure you get the meal you want.
Karel's Beach Bar Karel's Beach Bar is a fun place to chill and have some cheap eats. They have the best location for watching sunsets. Happy hour is popular from 5:00-7:00.
