# 4 Bise Morto

Bise Morto is one of Bonaire snorkeling sites found in Washington Slagbaii Park. The reef starts at 20 ft.There is a beautiful abundance of elk horn and stag horn corals. Look for whale sharks and manta rays.

# 9 Karpata

The reef starts at 20ft. Karpata is a popular snorkel site because of the great visibility large ship anchors and lots of reef life. Look for a huge assortment of sponges and sea fans. Because this is a popular Bonaire snorkeling site it is also popular with thieves, don't leave any belongings in your vehicle.

This is a drift snorkel for those who are comfortable in the water. There is a 4 ft. drop into the water and once you are in the water you can't get out until you drift to Karpata. This is about a half hour drift snorkel with plenty of fish, coral and sponges to see on the way. You won't be disappointed with this site. It's a favorite Bonaire snorkeling site for drifting.

# 13 Ol' Blue/ Tolo

The reef starts at 20ft. There are plenty of friendly french angels and schooling fish. Nice coral. Look into the blue for whale sharks and eagle rays.

#16 1000 Steps

The reef starts at 15 feet. There are actually only 64 steps. The mooring bouy has large tube star pagododas. Look for whale sharks, hawksbill turtles, filefish and triggerfish. Three reef sharks were spotted here recently. Don't let the 64 steps discourage you, this is a great one of Bonaire snorkeling sites.

# 17 Webers Joy

The reef starts at 15 feet. This site has purple tipped sea anemones with elkhorn and staghorn corals. Look for porcupine fish and Octopus.

# 20 Oil Slick Leap

The reef starts at 20 feet. There is a four foot jump to enter and a steel ladder to exit.There are small caves in the shallows. Look for large schools of baracuda, turtels and sea horses hiding in the gorgonians.

# 22 and # 23 Andrea I & II

The reef starts at 20 feet. This is a great snorkel to see friendly three foot Parrot fish.

#25 Small Wall (Black Durgon house reef)

You need to be staying at the Black Durgon to snorkel this site. The reef starts at 20 feet. Look for lettuce slugs and cleaner shrimp on corkscrew sea anemones, octopus, christmas tree worms and bristle stars.

# 27 La Machaca (Captain Don's house reef)

The reef of La Machaca starts at 10 feet. It's named after an upside down fishing boat wreck in 40ft. of water. The boat hosts a huge green moray eel. This is a great comfortable night snorkeling site.

# 28 Reef Scientifico

Reef Scientifico starts at 12 feet. This Bonaire snorkeling site was used as an algae experiment. It's easy to find, right between Buddy's Reef and La Machaca. It's an easy swim out to either one from this site. This is another great night snorkel site.

# 29 Buddy's Reef (Buddy's house reef)

The reef starts at 20 feet. This is a great night snorkel watch for friendly, zippy Tarpon hunting with the help of your flashlight.

# 30 Bari Reef (Sand Dollar house reef)

Bari reef starts from shore. The most diverse reef for fish species compared to any reef in the Caribbean. 317 fish species have been documented on this reef alone.

# 31 Front Porch (Eden Beach)

The reef starts in 20 feet. There's an old tugboat wreck in 80' of water. Follow the old anchor chain to the wreck. Watch for large schools of big-toothed Cardinal fish.

# 32 Something Special

Something Special is one of Bonaire's snorkel sites that you will see a lot of animales. There's not much coral at the start of this snorkel but a lot of fish. Garden eels at 55ft. The current brings in a lot of diversity.

# 34 Calabas (Divi Flamingo house reef)

The fish here are super friendly. There is a fishing boat wreck at 70 ft. off the Flamingo side of the reef. Look for Large baracuda, squid, cleaner shrimp, nudibranchs, morays and seahorses. A great place for night snorkeling.

# 35 18th Palms (Plaza Resort house reef)

You can access this site from the sandy beach as the pier is for the guests only. This snorkele site can get pretty busy due to diving schools and tours. There is a lot of great mini life here.

# 36 Windsock

The WIndsock reef starts at 12 feet. This is a popular site and a popular beach. It's located at the Flamingo runway. Elk and deer corals in the shallows. Look for baracudas, jacks and huge snapper. Also an easy and great night snorkel and a great place for picnics.

# 37 North Belnem

The North Belnem reef starts in 15 feet. Watch for large schools of blue Tangs.

# 48 Jeannies Glory

Jeannies Glory has the double reef system. Look for cleaning stations, schools of surgeon fish and blue tangs.

# 50 Salt City

The first reef starts at 20 feet. This site also has the double reef system with the 2nd reef in 60ft. Look for eagle rays and garden eels between the reefs.

# 51 Invisibles

The Invisibles reef starts at 20 feet. This is the best Bonaire snorkeling sites to see garden eels in 20 ft. of water. The Invisibles also has the double reef system. A really fishy site with a great variety of life. Plan on snorkeling here for awhile.

# 52 Tori's Reef

Tori's reef starts at 20 feet. There are the rare fish hiding out in the fire coral. Careful not to touch the coral. Look for lobsters, barber pole shrimp, cleaning stations, schools of creole wrasse, octopus, scorpion fish, seahorses and squid.

# 53 Pink Beach

The reef starts at 15 feet. Bonaire's famous pink sandy beach with coconut palms and pelicans. This is also one of the great Bonaire snorkeling sites. The pink sand is actually a creature called foramins nesting in minerals ie. sand. Easy entry. Watch for garden eels, sting rays and puffers.

# 55 Margate Bay

The Margate Bay reef starts at 20 feet. This site got it's name from the Black Margates sleeping among the coral. There is lots of fish variety. Look for honeycomb cowfish and longsnout butterfly fish.
